How is Neurofolin different to regular foods containing folic acid?

Unlike the folic acid found in standard fortified foods, Neurofolin contains an active form of folate and has been specifically formulated for the special dietary needs of patients with folate metabolism disorders.

Neurofolin contains 15 mg of L-methylfolate, an amount which cannot be met by consuming standard foods or from dietary supplements.


How should I take Neurofolin?

Directions

Take one sachet daily completely dissolved in 200ml of water.

Empty sachet, add water, stir vigorously and drink immediately.

Precautions

Not for parenteral use. Use under medical supervision. Please consult your doctor, dietitian or pharmacist for advice.

Do not take Neurofolin if you are hypersensitive to any ingredients listed in this product.

L-methylfolate may obscure detection of B12 deficiency.

Neurofolin should form part of a normal healthy diet.

Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.

Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
